Hack, Cough, Spit

I've had the lovely experience over the past two weeks of being sick. It's some sort of bronchitis or chest cold or something else like it that causes constant coughing and general discomfort most (if not all) of the day. Since I don't have medical insurance, I have the pleasure of self-diagnosing and self-medicating (crack), and I also don't have the benefit of getting a prescription if that's what I need. Oh well. Until this goes away, I'm pretty much just lying around.

I get Bronchitis on a yearly basis, it's a lot of fun.... This past episode I got an inhaler, a nice canister of horse sized pills, two other sets of pills. Throw in the kitchen sink, and I was set.

Don't you have medical through your company? I thought you were full-time now.

Jesus, I think we had the same bug around the same time, I was sick for weeks and the most predominant symptom was the cough. Cough, cough, cough. For hours. Keeping me up all night. Making me scream and whine and cry out of frustration. I think I even vomited once or twice just from the force of coughing so much.
The thing that sucked the most is that since I'm pregnant, all I could use was Robitussin DM, cough drops, and Vapo-Rub. It was literally Hell on Earth.
Since then I've avoided anyone with the sniffles with no apologies.
