Bush Will Do Whatever He Wants

Bush's official response to Massachusettes' ruling on gay marriage yesterday is absolutely typical and pathetic:
Today's ruling of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court is deeply troubling. Marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman. If activist judges insist on re-defining marriage by court order, the only alternative will be the constitutional process. We must do what is legally necessary to defend the sanctity of marriage.
Is it just me, or does it seem like Bush is going to continue to do whatever he wants, and fuck everyone else if they don't agree? He wanted to go to war in Iraq, the US and UN said no, he said fuck you all, I'm gonna do it. Now he's decided that regardless of the fact that individual states have the right to make their own laws about marriage, he's going to attempt to fuck that up too.
It's becoming clear that no matter who wins the democratic nomination, they should be voted for. Anything is better than this.

What happened to the republican idea of less government? If he doesn't want the government regulating his beloved guns, why should the government be regulating something as personal as marriage?
And to top it all off, his sacred institution really just "sorta-kinda" sacred. The excerpts from his Bible denouncing homosexuality are ambiguous at best and usually, when put in context amount to quite a bit less than sweeping condemnations of homosexuals.
Furthermore, if we're going to go with homosexuality being a sin, how is it any worse than being judgmental and intolerant (which happens to be contrary to the fundamentals of G. Bush's Christian faith) of those who happen to be homosexual? "Judge not, you bastard, lest you be judged."

I don't mean to be rude, but that is a very ignorant comment. Bush hasn't just done whatever he wants... Lets look at your examples:
He wanted to go to war in Iraq, the US and UN said no, he said fuck you all, I’m gonna do it.
Well, no not really.
First off the UN did agree to enforce the previous resolutions against Iraq by unanimously passing resolution 1441. (I know that it didn't lead some, namely France, Germany, and Russia to send troops to Iraq, but actually read the resolution, and you will find that there are 'teeth' in it if Iraq didn't comply) There was no veto, so the UN did not say "No."
Secondly, you say that the US said "No," well if they did, well then the Congress had a funny way of showing it, the House voting 296 to 133 and the Senate voting 77 to 23 to approve the war in Iraq.
Now he’s decided that regardless of the fact that individual states have the right to make their own laws about marriage, he’s going to attempt to fuck that up too.
Ummm, states having the right to make their own laws about marriage is exactly what Bush wants to do. Right now you have unelected, unaccountable activist Judges decided that "Gay Marriage" will be imposed on the people of Massachusetts. If the citizens of Massachusetts want "Gay Marriage" then there is a simple and easy way to do that, vote for Representatives that will pass legislation to that effect. Very simple concept.

I always forget to turn comments off for entries like this... my fault. I will close them after I write this.
In short, here's what I have to say to S. A. Miller: You're clearly a supporter of the Bush campaign. That's fine. To each his own.
I wasn't being literal, and I thought that was clear. Apparently it was not (since you took my comments to be very literal). Doesn't matter.
I disagree with Bush on this subject, and his comments are ridiculous. Enough said.
