Short Film Competition

posted on april 19, 2005, tag: filmmaking

You can now find our film, The Egregious Meatball, in the Amazon.com Short Film Competition. Because the films are randomly presented, we cannot direct you straight to our film. You must watch each film entirely to rate it, then you will be presented with another random short. Amazon has finally included a skip button which might allow you to happen upon our film faster, but if you have the time you should watch and rate some of the other films in the contest. Then, when you finally see our movie, be generous with your stars.

As soon as we are allowed, we will put the film online for all audiences to see directly (around May 20), but for now, we hope you come across it in the competition.

I came across your movie after watching 4-5 other movies. Well done—- very, very well done. Hilarious.

You should sell that meatball on ebay.

Wow—that's great to hear you got to it so fast. Hopefully others will be as lucky.

Glad you liked the film!

Oh, and by the way—those meatballs taste awful.

Wow, you weren't kidding about the problems with Macromedia... Each film I watch has a new problem. The first time, it froze. The second time, the sound cut out. The list goes on and on.
Now the whole page has gone down, and I've yet to see your film. So, hopefully I (and others who might be browsing right now) will have better luck later.

182 horrifically painful films later I finally reached yours! I am so glad I didn't choose to use the "Euthanasia" option offered directly under the play link in order to reduce the pain and agony of viewing the other films because if I did I would never have seen yours.

Your film was hilarious and well worth the torture I endured viewing the other 181 films. I swear, just one more horrific painful film and I wouldn't be here to write this today, so thank you for saving my life and making me laugh my ass off!

See your film is not only a great comedy, but a public service due to its ability to stave off the viewer’s death wish after viewing the other films. Good job! You make people laugh and you save lives, so I think you should definitely win and get some kind of humanitarian award too!

Great job, as always! All I can add is, "I want more, more films, more laughter", and seeing you more wouldn’t hurt either, MISTER!

My only request is..................GROW YOUR HAIR!!!!!!!!! Trust me you will have plenty of time later in your life to be bald, not by choice either, so enjoy your hair while you still have it!!!

Love you,
moMMy
